I have never been to New Orleans so this review could help someone else's anxieties about where to stay.... My husband and I travel alot. We are a black couple in our 40's but are still a whole vibe... We love to go out and party the night away but we like classy, clean hotels with grown and sexy vibes when we vacation so our hotel choices are a big deal... THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING HOTEL...the decor, the beauiful bars, the art, the clean and spacious rooms were better than my expectations. The rooftop pool and bar definitely didn't disappoint. Very beautiful and relaxing... The location was PERFECT! Easy walks to Bourbon Street, French Quarter and Canal Street. We didnt need to rent a car for this exact reason. And we felt safe! We are from Chicago so we are built different and we understand the culture so all was good. I honestly would have been a bit disappointed if I picked a location on Burbon Street or Frech Quarters. That's definitely were the action is but not where I would want to stay. But out of all the above perks, the staff is what will bring us back. Racquell C, Benny, Kiara, D.C, BarJonna, Roderick, Ella, Shavane, Marvin F and I hope I didn't forget anyone else's name because they made our trip one of the best one's yet. I literally wrote names down over time during our stay because pure kindness is hard to find these days and I appreciate them making my husband's 42nd birthday literally magical! Great Job Nopsi!

Stunning property with a history you should show an interets in as the staff are keen to tell you about it (ask Kevin the porter who was an absolute gentleman throughout our stay, just an asset to the hotel). Reception was warm and the room is a nice size for a city centre hotel (again because an old building, converted office space). Beds are comfortable and the best thing, no noise, complete silence (thick walls). The location is absolutely perfect for exploring New Orleans, no car needed, the StreetCar and by foot is fine. Centrally placed for Canal Street and the French Quarter (easy by foot), just 2 blocks to the StreetCar for the Garden District and we even took the Canal Street StreetCar up to City Park which was beautiful. Perfect also for a Pelicans (which we did) or Saints game, 10 block walk but totally safe. Rouse's supermarket is just a few blocks down the street also as is Enterprise which is where we picked up our car when we left. The area felt safe, not so much further up Canal Street out of town which is where we were first looking (Jung's). Fresh Coffee at reception every morning and water through the day.

All The staff at the NOPSI are top notch! The reason that I came to this hotel was because La Pavilion was refusing to take my reservation and was kicking me out of the room I paid for. Dusan Ciric was the most amazing host to be there at the front desk. He took our reservation, had some drinks on the house, and quickly figured out what our next move was. Food and beverage manger David was amazing and my girl Raven. What a gem. NOPSI is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at thanks to these beautiful people. Thank you 🙏

I loved everything from the decor to the drink demonstration. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Kevin, was very helpful by providing an ample list of Black-owned restaurants in the area to try. The bathrooms on the first floor were immaculate every time I used it. I loved the scent of the hand lotion and soap. The roof top bar and pool was great to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Paul is a great and friendly bartender.

Fabulous staff, in particular Kevin the concierge, Juanisha at front desk and Paul on the bar. GM also very approachable & friendly. But everyone we came across went above and beyond. Super comfy bed, big room with beautiful bathroom and walk in shower. Great location, but quiet. Lovely bars lobby and rooftop pool too. Chilled water always available.
